Our Founder’s Story
Master herbalist Dona’ Osakwe started Naturally Unique in 2014 after being frustrated with not being able to find any pure all natural hair and skin products. She wanted to be able to read the ingredients on products and know exactly what was in it. After constantly not being able to, she decided to start learning about the different attributes of natural hair and skin products and began formulating her own line. Dona’ took a small hiatus but after having her daughter in 2017, she was driven to revive her naturally unique dream. She found that her daughter was riddled with aggressive eczema along with significant hair loss. After constantly looking for things for her, she noticed she’d come up empty handed. Dona’ had the revelation that she was capable of producing the solutions for her daughter so she went back to work to formulate them. This inspired the insane growth oil and hair growth butter to come to fruition. So with this we present to you natural handmade products that can be tailored uniquely for you. Fun fact: Our body butter & sugar scrub were out first products ever! After our first revamp, we introduced the insane growth butter along with the hair growth butter.
